The Team

Sonia is a United States military veteran and Master's-prepared Registered Nurse.  She has held executive leadership positions in healthcare over the past 20 years, and is the visionary behind the DEAL-C2 Group. 

Sonia is a Master Trainer for the CDC's national diabetes prevention program (NDPP) and a certified Community Health Worker trainer.  She developed DEAL-C2 to improve the health and wellness of disadvantaged communities, and is passionate about helping communities in need.  

Shaunna is an influential educator with more than 20 years of experience providing mentorship and education to underprivileged communities.  She attended DEAL-C2's Community Health Worker course in 2023. With broad experience in facilitation and outreach, she provides extensive knowledge to our team.
